I worked as a bartender for a 4th of July party at a house. It was a pool party. I was asked to wear a very skimpy bikini bathing suit. Since most of the guest were gay and the host wanted a little eye candy for the guys. I had bartended other parties for this guy before so I knew the guests. Before long since it was hot I jumped into the pool. The host had purchased my bikini, which was see through when wet and had ties on each side. After a few hours of everyone drinking two of the guys that were sitting on the stairs of the pool grapped a hold of each of the ties on my bikini and off went my suit.

I'm no longer a teacher but I used to teach as a preschool as a floater (aka I went where I was needed). The class I was in that day had a new student with some learning disabilities. I did my best to effectively shadow him and redirect any unfavorable behaviors. I was actually quite pleased with how I handled him and the results in his behavior. In this particular preschool there are cameras in every classroom so parents can check in on their children. In this particular case our new child was a person of color. His mom must have watched on the camera the entire day. She accused me of being racist because I was singling out her son, (the brand new boy who was on the spectrum).

She claimed I hit him because I sat next to him and lightly touched his shoulder during class circle time because he was flopping around in his chair. After a few verbal corrections I touched his shoulder because many autistic children respond better to a physical reminder because they struggle verbally. And my ques worked (not perfectly but it was a very young autistic boys first day, wasn't expecting miracles). She also claimed I screamed (there's no microphones on the cameras) and slapped toys out of his hands at a different instance.

In this case another teacher was putting out toys on table tops with the instruction to not play yet because we were going to move students to different centers. It just so happened our new student was sitting next to the only of child of color in the class. Well both these kids were playing with the toys on the table after being instructed not to. So after reminding them of this instruction twice, I bent down, asked for the toys, then placed the toys back on the table. Reminding the boys the toys needed to stay on the table until they got to their center.

I did not grab the toys, I definitely didn't smack the toys out of their hands, but that is what I was accused of doing. And those accusations made me a racist to the mother. Of course this was taken very seriously by my boss. I was fearful of being fired over this lady's lies. My boss sat down and watched 6 hours of video to determine the lady was delusional. She actually praised me for the way I shadowed him, allowing him to do things on his own but also staying close enough to redirect him when he needed it.

Absolutely not. What people fail to see in this entire scenario, is the fact that the issues between Boeing and the crashes, are quite literally different. The plane did not crash due to a fatal design. That’s what Boeing is fixing, the design. What they’re also fixing, but isn’t the main priority, is the AOA. If that was what Boeing had to do, then it would be flying today.

The people who fail to see the difference are the ones who are completely fine with pilots lacking knowledge on flying basics. I don’t ever remember being taught to deal with a runaway trim, while throttles are locked in the fullest position, and also trying to use the manual trim, when the flight has been flown out of the envelope. I can’t even begin to tell you, just how much we train to make sure stupid shit like that, doesn’t happen. It’s clear someone hasn’t been training. Like it or not, the issues are very different.

You only need to unload the stabilizer if you've allowed the trim runaway to progress to a point at, or very near, the full nose-down limit AND you failed to reduce thrust and your airspeed is excessive. The Ethiopian flight's indicated airspeed reached 390 knots. Neither accident crew accomplished the steps on either the runaway stabilizer or unreliable airspeed checklists. Both of which have as either their 2nd (IAS) or 3rd (trim) step to disengage the autothrottles.

As the out-of-trim condition increases further, the two pilots work together with their inboard-hands turning the wheels together. The two fold-out handles are located 90 degrees of rotation apart. This is so that one pilot has his handle in a position which provides good leverage at any point in the wheel's rotation. When you get to a situation where the trim is at the full nose-down stop, and your airspeed is around 150 knots faster than it should be, the stabilizer loads are too high to manually move the stabilizer which require alternate periods of unloading and trimming with periods of regaining altitude.
