Also people claiming that stark built nano reactors and renewable tech stuff need to understand that he is not making massive amounts of profits from it. At one point in the comics he built an entire nonprofit company devoted to renewable energy. So lucrative as it may seem, stark isn't making much profits from his inventions like the high tech weaponry that he invents. He doesn't sell that stuff to just anybody who can afford it, just usually to the American government.

While both the companies are international, Stark industries historically has only dealt with weapons and stuff unlike the wayne enterprises which is diversified in every business there is. Once in comics it was said that you can live in Gotham and survive on only Wayne products which proves that Wayne's are involved in a lot of businesses.

And many times in the marvel comics stark has lost his company and started from scratch which has not usually been the case with Wayne. I would like to stress again that as potentially valuable Starks tech is, he is not making a fortune out of it. And don't give much attention to the Forbes list. Those guys don't waste time on fictional stuff and just made that for fun without putting too much effort in it. They got real companies to estimate.

Also it can be implied that DC universe has more population and hence more customers for Wayne's than Starks because in addition to all of the real earth, they still have dozens of fictional cities and countries with population running in millions. Like the population of Gotham and metropolis has been estimated to be about 20–30 million each. And then there are entire fictional countries.

But also last but not the least as I'm gonna edit this answer later, it's a fictional universe and DC and Marvel have themselves never revealed the worth of both the stark and Wayne companies for the fear of being outdone by the other. Hence the potential is endless. Both could have more money than the entire GDP of earth if that's what the guys at Marvel and DC wanted.

Apparently, my referencing Titan, the actual real moon, which orbits Saturn and scientist believe has conditions similar to earth, was WRONG.
